Natural Timber Surfaces
For centuries, wood has been our most loved, enduring natural material; a primary element in creating a theme.
Totally natural and environmentally friendly, Real-Wood surfaces are traditionally crafted in wood blocks (or staves) to the highest “A-grade” surface quality. Every timber block is individually inspected and cut by hand to remove imperfections before manufacture. Each block is then finger jointed for strength and longevity.
Real-Wood surfaces should be sealed, finished and maintained using the correct worksurface oils or lacquers (contact your retailer for recommended finishing products). This will bring out the beauty of the timber grain and protect your Real-Wood surface from everyday wear and tear. With the correct care, Real-Wood will last for many years and will mature into a deeper and richer colour over time.
